  • Experience in building transactional systems (preferably in Payments / Banking / E-Commerce, Exchanges, Payment service, API service experience domains)

Great opportunity for an experienced Data Manger to join an exciting organisation in Central London. Our client has an extensive global network of sites they work with to provide clinical trials to a range of sponsors and across various Therapeutic areas, although there is a focus on cardiovascular, haematology and oncology therapeutic areas. They also have a great technology platform that you will get to work on to support studies.

As a Clinical Data Manager you will provide support and technical expertise in the management and processing of clinical data, within assigned projects to ensure that they are executed in efficiently, accurately to set timelines.

We can consider a range of experience for this role as our client offers some training and support. You will need to work in their offices 3 days/ week in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report clinical trial progress and outstanding issues.
  • Staff training for all projects to which assigned; both direct involvement in training and supervision of staff assigned to training.
  • To ensure that all data management operations are conducted to SOPs; contribute to the ongoing revision/improvement of these SOPs.
  • Creation of project specific documentation for assigned trials, i.e. the Data Management Plan and the Data Management File.
  • Prepare database and edit check specifications.
  • Creation and validation of Manual and SAS checks.
  • Reconciliation of data from external sources (e.g. Serious Adverse Events, IVRS, Central Laboratory).
  • To perform verification and User Acceptance Testing of configured databases.
  • Data cleaning activities.
  • To review SAS listings/SAS tables.
  • To create CRF and eCRF completion guidelines, EDC system manuals and access instructions.
  • Production of information/reports directly from the clinical database or via the appropriate procedure to request a new report from the appropriate department or vendor.
  • To liaise with personnel at the sponsor company, or their designates, with Central Event Adjudication Committees (CEC) within clearly defined guidelines as determined by the Data Manager for matters concerning processing of data.
  • Performance of QC checks (including spot checks) and Database Quality Assessments on the clinical databases of assigned projects.

The Principal Scientist In Silico Biologics Design will provide world class expertise in machine learning to drive the establishment of robust in silico methodologies that integrates computational predictions with empirical laboratory data to revolutionise the design of our class-leading T-cell receptor (TCR) drugs. Using our wealth of structural data, combined with further in-house and public domain data sets, the successful applicant will develop ML algorithms to impact the design of future drugs. This is an exciting technology-focussed role so innovation, execution and collaboration are key factors for success. Working closely with the In Silico and automation teams within Protein Engineering, you will provide scientific and technical leadership relating to machine learning that will ultimately result in further progression of our growing pipeline of first-in-class drugs to benefit patients. With our successful launch in 2022, of the world's first TCR based medicine, KIMMTRAK, which is also the first launched treatment for any solid tumour, you will be joining us at the most exciting time in our history, and be part of a team that values innovation, trust and collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* To develop and assess advanced machine learning (ML) models for novel antibody and TCR drug candidate optimisation and, looking to impact de novo drug design in the future
* Utilise our extensive in-house structural and specificity data sets to extract further value
* Work with colleagues across Research to identify training data from the public domain and help shape the development of our in-house data sets to support the optimisation of ML algorithms
* Drive the establishment of virtual screening tools including:
o Protein structure prediction
o Affinity prediction
o Peptide human leukocyte antigen (pHLA) specificity prediction
o Developability prediction
* Assist with TCR library design for multifactorial lead optimisation
* Work with interdisciplinary teams across structural biology, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and bioinformatics and data science to integrate machine learning into TCR discovery and optimisation.

Experience in data modelling, using statistical methods to identify behavioural and data patterns. Industry experience would be advantageous, but this is not clinical endpoint analysis so a different way of thinking about data and stats modelling is required.

An interest and/or experience in machine learning models would also be an advantage but not essential. This role will require you to write reproducible, robust code and so an understanding of the importance of good software development practices and interest in this area would be beneficial. Or if not, an appetite to learn!
