US RESIDENTS ONLY: To return to the US you’ll need to take a COVID-19 test the day before your entry date. Don’t waste time looking for a test lab in Zambia. The e-Visa Approval Letter is valid for 90 days after issued. You can enter Zambia at any time within this period.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your listed arrival date.

A proof of accommodation is required to obtain the travel document. The dates in this document MUST match the travel dates selected in the application. This is a requirement that is demanded by the government in order to issue the travel document.

Failure to enter within this period renders your e-Visa Approval Letter invalid, and thus you will have to apply again.

Single Entry, Double Entry and Multiple Entry visas are valid for 90 days after issued, with the exception of nationals from the United States of America, for whom multiple entry visas have a validity of 3 years (on a reciprocal basis).

Is it mandatory to quarantine on arrival to Zambia?
- Quarantine requirements:14 days self-isolation for unvaccinated travelers arriving from high risk countries.
- High risk countries: India, Iran, Turkey, France, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Egypt, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Italy, Tanzania.
- Quarantine testing: Negative result from PCR test on arrival to end quarantine early.
- Quarantine exemptions: Fully vaccinated travelers do not need to quarantine.
