Yes, all international travelers aged 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination to enter Morocco. Accepted vaccines are AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sputnik, Pfizer/BioNTech, Janssen, Covishield, Moderna, Sinovac. COVID test prior to arrival: It depends where you're arriving from.

  • Arrivals from A countries: No test is required for fully vaccinated adults, however children aged 6 - 11 need a negative PCR test.

  • Arrivals from B countries: PCR within 48 hours.

  • B countries test exemption: Children under 6.

  • Arrivals from C countries: Arrivals from C countries are not allowed to enter Morocco.

  • Quarantine requirements: 10 days for unvaccinated travelers with eligibility to enter Morocco from B countries only.
  • Quarantine exemptions: Fully vaccinated travelers do not have to quarantine.

The city with the largest population in Morocco is Casablanca, while the capital is Rabat. With a population of about 36 million people and a landmass of 700,000 square kilometers, Morocco has a bit of everything to offer visitors. Travelers can expect to encounter a stunning countryside and marvelous cities, with a splash of spices, sand, and sacred architecture. If visitors have the time to do so, they should visit as many places in Morocco as possible, but not everyone can do that, so to kick things off no trip to Morocco is complete without visiting Marrakech.
