WHO CAN ENTER LITHUANIA WITH THIS DOCUMENT Unvaccinated travelers aged 16 and over, as well as all arrivals from countries with a variant of concern, need a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours before entry OR an antigen test result taken within 48 hours before entry.

Important Instructions

  • All travelers entering Lithuania must fill out the Registration form before departure. It DOES NOT replace a visa. If your country requires a visa, the immigration officers will ask for your Visa when you enter the country. Keep in mind some nationalities will require a paper visa. If that is your case, we suggest you contact your local embassy.

  • You can apply anytime, but remember we can only process your application no more than 72 hours prior to your arrival.

  • At the airport, you must show the QR Code that we will bring you, in order to pass the health check established by the Health Authorities.

  • It is highly recommended that you keep your Form and the associated QR Code with you either as a soft copy (smartphone, tablet, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of any failure in the system.

All fully vaccinated travelers, citizens of the third countries mentioned below, and travelers coming from EU countries can travel to Lithuania for tourism purposes.

  • Green countries: None.
  • Yellow countries: Mayotte, Romania
  • Red countries: Rest of the world
  • Third countries: Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Jordan, Kuwait, Namibia, New Zealand, Peru, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and China.
  • Countries with a variant of concern: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
COVID vaccination passports or certificates are mandatory for travelers from red countries to enter Lithuania. Approved vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Spikevax, Janssen. You are considered vaccinated if all doses of a vaccine against SARS-Cov-2 have been administered for at least two weeks before traveling.
  • COVID test prior to arrival: PCR within 72 hours or antigen within 48 hours for all arrivals from countries with a variant of concern and unvaccinated travelers.
  • COVID test after arrival: All arrivals from countries with a variant of concern must undergo testing on day 3 and between days 7-10. Unvaccinated travelers from orange countries must undergo testing 3-5 days after arrival.
  • COVID test exemptions: Children under 16
  • Quarantine requirements: 10 days for all arrivals from countries with a variant of concern.
  • Quarantine testing: All arrivals from countries with a variant of concern must undergo testing on day 3 and between days 7-10. Unvaccinated travelers from orange countries must undergo testing 3-5 days after arrival.
